Augmented Reality is a Universal Design Learning Tool

Designing an academic journal report on the potential of using augmented reality in an educational setting.

I was tasked to design and hand-bind the “Beyond Pokemon: Augmented Reality is a Universal Design Learning Tool” journal report written by Zachary Walker, Don McMahon, and Kara Rosenblatt. The design of this report highlights the interplay of futuristic technology and the playfulness it can bring to academic writing.

The cover of this journal is a matte black paper with the letters ‘AR’ laser-cut to reveal a window into the future of augmented reality.

The use of abstract shapes and gradients draw the reader’s attention to information throughout the journal report.
